CCMS Update status failed to display on Solution Manager under RZ20.

One of our standard items to monitor in CCMS is the Update Status and this node no longer exists for one of our ECC production system.   When I look under RZ20 on Solution Manager for that system,, the Update Status shows No MTE currently available (see below picture).

We did research and could not find figured it out and eventually we had to call SAP to address this issues.   SAP Provided the following solution and it worked.  The solution was to move the Update context from Application server to Central Instance.

Login into the satellite system, in this case our ECC production system. 

Transaction RZ21 -> Under Topology, Select Context Overview,  click on Display Overview,

Click on Pencil icon to make changes in the Context menu

Find the context name Update in the Context Name column, 
In the change Mode, Select the Update context  ->  click "Activate Fixing button, choose the Central Instance of the ECC production system.
click on Save.



Finally login in to 000 client of Production ECC system and run this report RS_UPDATE_STARTUP  in SE38.  After this the Update monitoring structure will be correctly reported by the transaction RZ20 again.  Wait for few minutes and check in RZ20 of Solman and you should be able to see the current update status.
