The mobile and telecommunications industries are set to descend on Las Vegas next week at the Super Mobility Week conference and the Telco team at SAP is getting geared up for a lot of exciting activities at the show.
This event is North America’s largest event for all things mobile. It’s bigger and better this year than ever before with CTIA collapsing two previous events into this one, condensed super event. With SAP’s focus on both enterprise mobility and the Telco industry as one of key strategic focus industries, it makes sense that we will be having a larger than ever presence at the event as well.
We’ll be showcasing lots of our solutions, hosting events and participating in speaking sessions. So, for our customers that will be there as well as anyone else that is just interested in hearing what SAP does in the Telco industry, here are the top reasons you’ll want to swing by and check us out at the event:
1) Bill McDermott is keynoting
That’s right…SAP’s CEO will be giving the keynote session on Wednesday, Sept 10 at 10:30 in the Venetian Ballroom at the Sands Expo. We’re very excited to share our vision for where we are going as a company and how we are helping enable the transformation of the telecommunications industry. I hope you’ll be able to join us to hear this directly from our top executive.
2) The Future of Customer Engagement
I’m excited to really show our Telco customers how we are working with the top global service providers to help them engage better with their customers. From helping them with their cross channel selling and marketing to getting a 360° view of their customers to providing customer-centric insights through advanced analytics – SAP is innovating with our customers to help them transform their business.
3) SAP and The Networked Economy
Hyper-connectivity, hyper-personalization, hyper-optimization – the future of this industry certainly seems to be going into hyperdrive. How does SAP fit into this. Check out our Networked Economy pavilion at booth #4414 to hear how we are working with leading service providers help deliver upon the Internet of Things opportunity and with Fortune 100 companies to detect, analyze and monetize the millions of data transfers happening per second with connected sensors.
4) Big Data? Yes, but what about Monetize Data?
We’ve all heard about Big Data and the opportunities that the Telco industry has by better leveraging data sources. In fact, a recent report by TATA Consulting shows that the Telco industry tops the list of industries investing in Big Data projects and technology. At SAP, we can help service providers get a handle on their data and analyze and execute on that data in real-time. But, we’re also working with the industry on real, tangible ways that they can be monetizing that data. Stop by booth #4414 to take a look at our Consumer Insights solution and hear about our advanced and predictive analytics capabilities.
5) Drinks anyone?
Well, it is Las Vegas after all and it can’t be ALL work without any play. Join us for cocktails on Wednesday, September 10 from 3-5pm at the SAP booth for cocktails!
I hope you get the chance to stop by booth #4414 to say hi. I’ll be there and look forward to seeing you!
