What is Sourcing ?

In very basic terms, sourcing is the ability to find out where/how a particular material/service can be obtained.

What is offered by SAP to meet your sourcing needs ?

SAP have two offerings in relation to sourcing:

1. SAP E-Sourcing

2. SAP Supplier Relationship Management – Sourcing Cockpit

In this blog I will solely concentrate on the SAP SRM Sourcing Cockpit as this is the area I work in. I aim to blog about any common sourcing issues and how they can be resolved or explain why the system is behaving in a certain way. I will also try to answer any of your queries in relation to these issues.

Finally I will try my best to keep you up-to-date on any changes/enhancements that effect the sourcing area of SRM.
