What could be better than two hands-on workshop reservations at SAP TechEd && d-code in Las Vegas and Berlin? How about a third?

The SAP TechEd && d-code Hands-On Workshop Challenge is one of the new offerings available to full conference registrants. For a shot at a guaranteed seat in a third hands-on workshop, where you can dig deep into SAP technologies and tools, just write a blog post that features:

  • The Location: Las Vegas or Berlin? You can even grab an extra seat for conferences in both the U.S. and Germany but you must publish a blog post for each location.SAP_TechEd_2013_AMS_07579.jpg
  • Your Plan: Which sessions are you most excited about? Why are you so pumped about attending them? We’re looking for entries that superbly explain why each session sparked your interest.
  • What you’re looking forward to the most: DemoJam? Hacker Night? Or for the crazy ones, our second annual 5K in Las Vegas?
  • Advice for first timers (optional): Two decades of SAP TechEd conveys a lot of lessons learned. We ask that the veterans share tips that newbies should know before they go.

Publish your blog post in the SAP TechEd && d-code space, or in the SCN area that’s most related to the sessions you’ll be writing about. BI-related content, for example, should go under Business Intelligence.

Be sure to tag your blog with the sap_teched event tag. And use the official conference hashtag, #SAPtd, when you promote your blog on Twitter!

How to Submit

Add the URL of your SAP TechEd && d-code blog post in the comments section below! You will be able to reserve your preferred third hands-on workshop after we launch the agenda builders (see the timetable below). You can switch to a different workshop any time before the event.

We’ll start awarding third workshops about a week after we launch each agenda builder: Las Vegas will be around Friday, Sept. 26, and Berlin around Friday, Oct. 17. The challenge will end for Las Vegas attendees on Friday, October 17th and Berlin attendees on Friday, November 7th.

Blogs that are accepted will be credited to attendees on a weekly basis. You’ll be notified via e-mail with instructions on how to redeem your 3rd workshop reservation once it’s available. See our session types and policies for more information on hands-on workshops.

Please note: Only full conference attendees can qualify for a 3rd workshop. If you registered with a group under our Buy 4, Get 5 group discount then you can also participate in the challenge. If you haven’t already registered, it’s time to get on board!

Thank you for the 3rd session. Much appreciated!

P.S. For anyone who has submitted their blog, check your agenda. I had not recieved an email stating that I had been awarded a 3rd session. In checking my agenda, more reservation slots had openned up and I could book my much desired 3rd session.

    Hi Dianna,

many thanks for this great opportunity!

Here’s my blog entry: SAP TechEd && d-code 2014 in Berlin Hands-On Workshop Challenge: HANA Overkill

I hope that a lot of first timers are following this series, as I have already seen a lot of helpful suggestions from various bloggers.

Some definitely do so 😉 . I’m already building a list from the advices taken from all the blog entries. The most important one (top of the list) so far was from Martin Steinberg:

    Cheers, Lukas

Hi Gregory! We award the extra reservations on a weekly basis, so it looks like yours just missed the cut-off last Friday. The good news is that your account has been updated, so let me know if you have any issues reserving your 3rd workshop. Thanks! Dianna

Just wanted to followup and say thank you for the thirds hands-on session I experienced in Las Vegas.  It was awesome getting one more chance to attend a hands-on session without trying for the waitlist and actually getting to sit at a workstation, rather than listen to the lecture only.

Hopefully this chance will be offered next year 😉 .

    Take care,
