Is it possible to implement SCD Type2 or CDC in BW?
Scenario:
Source: Database (MySql & DB2)
Target: BW
I can pull data from MySql & DB2 to BW, but the problem is with implementation of CDC/SCD Type2(means newly inserted, deleted, updated records).
For capturing changed data we need to use combination of Transformations from DS among one of the Transformation is "Table Comparison".
(Table comparison transformation - is used to compare the two data sets and check what are the records were updated, inserted and deleted. )
This transformation ask you for Target database not Application, and SAP BW is application.
I am not sure whether implement SCD Type2 or CDC is possible in BW.
Please help me in this.
