German SAP User Group is founding a new working group for SAP & Microsoft integration

— English version below –

English version

Although this is only interesting for German speaking customers, I want to share some information on a new working group that is currenty being founded by the German SAP User Group (DSAG). This is mainly to also inspire other customers and user groups to actively engage in similar activities.

Some time ago DSAG was approached by several customers to take a closer look at the topic of Microsoft and SAP integration. Obviously integration topics like SharePoint, Office, Windows 8.1, security, … were raised and will be the topcis of our discussions going forward. On September 25th we will have our first founding meeting where we will kick-off the working group with presentations from two customers talking about their experience in different integration projects. Maybe we will see similar activities in other SAP user groups around the world. I would be happy to see this — our team is ready to support you!
