New book: SOA Integration – Enterprise Service Monitoring (LIE, FEH/ECH, AIF)
As more and more new functions from SAP are being delivered in the form of Enterprise Services and many customer are developing new interfaces on the basis of abap proxies instead of IDOCs it’s becoming more and more important to be able to understand how to properly monitor those interfaces. As SAP provides multiple tools for performing those tasks on the SAP backend systems developers and business users must know when to use each of them. My new book “SOA Integration – Enterprise Service Monitoring” I’m trying to compare three most popular Enterprise Service backend system monitoring tools available from SAP:
– Local Integration Engine
– Forward Error Handling/Error and Conflict Handler
– Application and Interface Framework
As in my previous books you will not only find the pure feature comparision of the tools but best of all, tons of customizing examples for all three technologies. The book does not contentrate on the coding as such (with a few exceptions) but tries to show what you can achieve with customing so apart from the developers it can be as well used by the key users who are in charge of monitoring interfaces but would like to find some more options from the tools which they use everyday.
