Rapid-deployment of SAP ERP – Further steps to simplification taken
In order to further simply and streamline our offering for SAP rapid-deployment solutions to implement SAP ERP, we reached some further milestones which we believe are worth telling you about.
First of all, a new SAP ERP RDS cluster structure was introduced on the SAP Service Marketplace, our central knowledge hub for SAP rapid-deployment solutions. You can now easily navigate within the different offerings of our ERP related rapid-deployment solutions. From there, simply decide if you prefer the well-know and established ERP Foundation Starter offering or the newer and more sophisticated ERP Foundation Extension offering.
In the ERP Foundation Starter area, we further streamlined our offering for countries by merging the formerly separated ERP packages for China into the new, flexible SAP ERP Foundation rapid-deployment solution which contains all the innovations included within the latest best-practice baseline for China. To understand what is specific about the Chinese version of the ERP Foundation RDS, please review the dedicated slide deck. As well, the Chinese version of the RDS is fully integrated into the step-by-step (SBS) guide:
If you are interested to see which other countries are covered with our offerings, simply review our country overview slide deck and navigate to our overview page at http://service.sap.com/rds-erp-entry.
Note: Some of the links included in my blog post might currently not be available to the general public but should become so soon.
To better understand our overall portfolio of ERP RDS packages, please read my earlier blog post “SAPERP Foundation rapid-deployment solution: The new way to package ERP”.
