Continuing the ASUG SAP TechEd && d-code meet the speaker series, I am pleased to introduce speaker Jolene Jonas of Intel.  She is presenting DMM123 Intel’s Master Data Journey

About the ASUG SAP TechEd d-code session, Intel’s Master Data Journey:

Jolene will describe Intel’s robust Master Data program, the scope of which included the delivery of six core Master Data Subject Areas.  Intel has gone beyond traditional Master Data, venturing into Reference Data.  She will take you through their journey which began in 1996 with Finance Master Data, through 2004 with their introduction of Reference Data and on to Intel’s current solutions covering a broad range of Subject Areas.  Core to every Master Data effort was a centrally managed team responsible for driving horizontal capabilities that enabled enterprise level integration across all business areas.  This session will cover:  the broad range of Master Data scope, the Master Data team structures, the role of Master Data governance, how to design for split sources, and how to reduce risk when implementing a solution within an existing enterprise environment.   Key benefits realized and lessons learned will be shared throughout the presentation.

Jolene marches in Portland Oregon’s One More Time Around Again Marching Band. The country’s largest marching band at 500+ members with ages ranging from 18 to 80
