To be relevant in today’s digital era, customers are transforming their business models to respond to market needs. They seek business insight which enables people to make fact based decisions and are looking to shift to a ‘sense and respond’ model, which calls for a new design paradigm.

SAP Fiori customers are excited about the real-time access to their business information and the instant insight-to-action capabilities. The Business users are able to keep their finger on the pulse of their business, make facts-based decisions and act on business insights with a rich user experience.

SAP believes that co-innovation with partners to help build new Fiori-like apps will augment the SAP offering and bring added value to our customers. Together, we can help users experience their daily tasks in an intuitive way and perform business outcomes in a simple and easy-to-use manner.

In order to make this happen, we have designed this partner workshop brought to you by SAP Co-Innovation Labs in conjunction with SAP UX Product management and SAP GPO Solution Center North America (see Sharon Agam’s blog post, which contains feedback from participants who joined the previous workshop).

The workshop will help interested and committed partners to bring their own use-case and build new Fiori-like apps with active guidance and support from SAP skilled design coaches, UX experts and Fiori consultants. SAP will guide the partner and its customer, on how to build a new Fiori app following the SAP Fiori design paradigm, and walk them all the way through the completion of the app and its SAP certification (optional although recommended). Customers’ attendance during the design phase of the workshop is recommended in order to run a comprehensive research, to ideate, scope, analyze and understand feasibility.

Is it possible for independent consultants to get an entry to this?

      Hi Varun,

No unfortunately; this workshop is for SAP partners only (and only for those partners who have an existing customer with a relevant use-case scenario)

It would be great to involve a few independent consultants too at such events. Apart from regular implementations, lot of prospective fiori customers contact me for learning about fiori and fiori prototyping. So, it would help to learn SAP's perspective while projecting fiori to customers.

But anyways, thanks for the info Jeffrey.

      Cheers,

      Varun
