procedure to applying SP11 in NW 7.3

Here i am giving screenshots of SP 11 applying in NW portal 7.3 using SUM

1. Generate the stack XML and download the required dumps.

2. Take the Database full back and direcotry backup of /usr/sap/<SID>/

3. copy all the dumps to temporary location.

4. Create the SUM Direcory.

5. Extract the SUM by below.

Provide the <SID>adm login credentials

provide the path of XML file location

enter the keyword that available in mentioned Snote.

phase started.

Provide the administrator credentials

Download the latest CRL and copied in the dump location. repeat the step.

Review the given inputs once and continue.

Download the latest Cryptographic file as mentioned in the SNote.

  1240081 – Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Jurisdiction Policy Files

Find the download location in the above note

provide JCE file and continue.

Here, downtime phase going to start, ensure the require backups before continue.

Downtime phase completed successfully.

take full backup after upgrade if require.

start the post processing activities.

Stack update finished.
