Good effort to bring the data in one page, but it would be really helpful to folks and value add for this doc if post solman installation steps are included here such as SOLMAN_SETUP with errors and fix.
Thanks for the feedback
You can go through this link for system preparation. Will soon prepare a document for basic configuration as well
Beautifully put across most of the details need for installation, Thank you!!
if you have done any other setup like BPM, charm or RCA or any thing apart from normal setup, it would be great if you could share those.
Hi Anitha, and thanks for sharing.
It's been very helpful.
It would have been better, if you would have mentioned about the database installation.
Thanks Anitha for detail steps for Solmn.
Thanks, so nice doc...
As commented by other colleagues, this would be helpful if such step by step procedure is generated officially by SAP and put into PDF called "Installation Guide".
The problem, is that the official guides are not so useful for quick setup...many notes are there, but no useful details, especially for debugging...
I am searching a similar doc for SOLMAN 7.1 SR1 setup in Windows 2012/2008.
If anyone, know a nice doc like yours, please share it.
I am spending months now in searching, without success, but did not give up till success, and at that stage, will generate my doc and share it also.
I have built my own procedure for SOLMAN 7.1 SR1 Setup on windows 2008 R2 + MAXDB environment, after I have succeeded to install it.
I like that peaple can profit from it and avoid suffer like I did.
Sharing it with you...Sorry, I cannot attch it directly to this thread, as the Word format is not allowed in SCN...So, you can download it via the link below.
