SQL7008 error

On IBM i sometimes an obvious SQL7008 error can not be solved by a simple command which used to be a solution.

SBMJOB CMD(AS4FIXFILE DBLIB(R3<SID>DATA) CHGOWN(*YES)

          
ENDJRN(*YES) STRJRN(*YES)) JOB(AS4FIXFILE)

In such case, please also think about data area of QDFTJRN.

WRKDTAARA DTAARA(R3STTDATA/QDFTJRN)

If you see this, Please delete DTAARA(R3STTDATA/QDFTJRN) then your  AS4FIXFILE command

will active journal again.
