      HI Praneeth,

      Nice Doc.

I have a query. We are about to extract SAP HCM data from existing system and upload to new System (upgraded version). Go live is planned from April 2017. Let me know apart from master datas (Infotypes), what other activities I have to undergo. Especially for payroll - should I hav eto bring previous result details to new system - Pls give some details

      Hi Premavathi raja,

If your go-live is from april, 2017 then no need of payroll results to upload into the system. if any mid-year go-live only we upload the payroll results. for your go-live activities, you need to extract the Employee details (All Info type data) and once your new system was ready then using LSMW / BDC upload the masters. while uploading the masters check your payroll area has to be set as employee DOJ not April, 2017 then system will give error.

once all the masters are uploaded then change the payroll area to April, 2017 and run the test run and cross check for the payments and remaining data for accuracy.

All the best for your go-live.

      Best Regards,
      Praneeth kumar
