Cycle 4 Youth SAP Italy team hit the road with the support of their ‘gold-hearted’ colleagues

Friday July 4th: the Italian Cycle4Youth team leave for Walldorf

The presence of big clouds in the sky didn’t stop the departure of the Italian Cycle4Youth team, who are going to challenge both the weather and the Alps over the next 5 days. On Friday morning, after the briefing and bike checks, the 13 Italian heroes were cheered on by SAP Italy colleagues during an official ceremony where they shared their strategies for the ride and had breakfast together.

The team sponsor –  ICM.s, a SAP partner, was also present. They ride not only for the love of cycling, but to raise money for three charities working with disadvantaged young people in Europe and Africa, by raising 1 euro per Km cycled.

Italy has one of the longest distances to cover, at more than 650km with a large experienced team, so GO ITALY GO!
