SAP Univeristy Alliances, over the last few years, has been actively inviting its member professors to be part of this grand and exclusive event called SAP Forum. Access to such events is one of the key benifits that UA members recieve as these events bring the academia closer to the industry and this in turn benifits the students to a great extent.

This year SAP will be hosting the SAP Forum in New Delhi on 13 August 2014 and will be a common platform to discuss SAP's nation building activities through enhanced functioning of public sector utilities, central government, state government departments, PSUs, defence agencies, utilities, education and healthcare service provider.

About the event - as per the event site

For the last few years, SAP has been associated with some of the key stakeholders in the Government’s inclusive agenda of achieving equitable growth. We have been actively involved in helping the Indian Public Sector become globally competitive, infusing the right technology to help co-operatives bring about a transformation in Financial and Social Inclusion; assisting the Power sector in its reforms agenda; helping India build world-class airports, ports, rail-roads ; effectively managing fiscal reforms and enabling the local governments in empowering its employees and citizens. In all of the above, SAP has been at the forefront - effectively partnering with the Government in 'building' a resurgent India.

This year at the SAP Forum for Public Services, the focus will be on revealing the roadmap ahead for SAP in modernizing India’s public sector and public services, and demonstrating effective technology interventions that can catalyze sustained economic and social growth.

We will also showcase localized SAP technologies that have brought sweeping changes in the working style of the Public Sector including government departments, state & central government agencies, defense, utilities, PSU’s, health units, education departments and institutions.
