During 12 days, the Big Data truck has crossed France to meet our customers and our universities partners. In this exams and holidays period, campuses were empty. In addition to this, we were competing with the World Cup!

It was very challenging to attract students and lecturers.

With SAP France Marketing, we have decided to organize “after-work” sessions with the following invitation

“SAP Big Data tour, Come Onboard !”

3 cities, 3 dates: Pau the 17th, Paris the 23rd and Lille the 26th of June 2014.

The Automotive Control Center shows how analyses of massive data volumes conducted in a matter of seconds can create the future of transportation.

The Smart Vending Machine reveals how vending machines can anticipate customer wishes and become even more profitable.

The DFB showcase shows why German soccer is among the world’s leaders in terms of strategy and speed.

Visitors could immerse themselves into this fascinating domain of gigapixel images and experience a world full of data. Explore the panoramic overview, discover urban details, or take in the telling of a Big Data Story.

The “Waouh” effect of the Truck, so impressive!

The “Waouh” effect of Truck’s content, demos and presentations skillfully and expertly led by our specialists, Frederic Puche and Jean-Michel Jurbert and carefully supported by the dream team Gisele Prevost and Emmanuelle Pavy.

Their success was the visitors’ happy faces getting out of Big Data Truck.

11 SAP UAP members attended Truck.

At Pau, EISTI Pau launches the tour with an “after-work” inviting their regional business partners to share this event. It was a great opportunity to highlight SAP UA activities within the SAP ecosystem.

During Paris step, the Big Data team has to deal with train’s strike in Paris, Traffic-Jam, closed motorway at night and Police intervention to park the Truck in Levallois! But everything was ready to attend EPSI, ESIEE, EFREI, Université de Rennes 1, ESCE, EISTI Cergy and Université de Paris Ouest.

As always, the students and lecturers get out with the desire to learn more about SAP Hana and SAP solution.

Lille, our last step, where we have met our local partners IESEG Lille, ISA Lille and VIA CESI Arras.

One more time, it was “Waouh” effect, many goods returns and a lot of discussion about innovation and future collaboration with SAP UA Program.
