SCN Mission Status – Doctors Without Borders

As I noted in an update to the document Your mission, should you decide to accept it…

the community has done really well in achieving some badges and in donating to Doctors Without Borders.

Jason Cao   has also delivered this nice Lumira report (powered by SAP HANA Cloud!!!) which allows us to see our activity.  Of course, the activity has dropped off a bit, most likely since the Mission is no longer on the SCN home page, but that doesn’t mean we are done yet!

The link to the actual report is here .

You’d have to ask Jason how hard it was to create this report.  I can’t wait to see how the community decides to push the ‘inspire’ envelope – with such a creative and passionate group, I know we can all achieve something wonderful together.

    Hi,

You can learn more on this program from SAP TechEd (#SAPtd) Tech Talk : Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

join attendees, students and SAP Lumira experts at the Viz-a-thon (a data visualization live event). Attendees work with actual medical data supplied by MSF. The purpose of the Viz-a-thon is not only to give participants experience in working with real datasets and learning to use SAP Lumira, but also provides MSF surgeons with tangible output: data insights created using their own real MSF surgical data via SAP Lumira visualizations. This marks the first time this particular data has been released for such a crowd-sourcing activity. Giving attendees a humanitarian face to data inspires creating original insights.
