One of the requisite for a Project Management Professional (PMP) aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) is to gain continued Professional development Units (PDUs) every 3 years to keep their PMP certification active.

As part of the SAP eco-system our technology keeps changing and there is a lot of continued education that we do as SAP professionals.

This blog shows how to find what SAP courses will fetch you PMP-PDUs.

The reason I thought of writing this blog is because I found it very difficult to find the above information using google search, though I knew quite clearly that I should first go to

http://www.pmi.org/Certification/Project-Management-Professional-PMP.aspx

However even after reaching the above link, I had to go around a bit after about 1-2 hours of browsing to find out exactly where the list of SAP courses can be found. If you are lucky you might just find this in a few minutes yourself!

So,

Continuing Certification Requirements System

This will take you into the following page.

PLEASE NOTE: You may have to wait a few minutes for the "Activity & Provider Search" to open up. Surprisingly it does not turn up as soon as the page loads and takes upto 5-10 secs more.

Now select "Activities" and search for "SAP" -> the next page again on the left side make the selection as follows:

You can find many interesting entries here:

eg of some of them

Agile ASAP 8
ASAP Implementation Methodology for SAP projects
Assemble to Order -- Classroom Training

Now you can easily search for many of the sessions and training you have completed and claim your credits!

If you already know the Activity ID, Provider name etc. (Refer to one of the eg. links above) then you could directly go ahead and "Report PDUs"

Search for the Provider Name, Activity ID or any combinations. (If you add a , or space etc, the results will not work). Also you can search for just a provider name alone if you do not know the Activity details.

Once you find the search result and you click on the corresponding activity, it will show up as follows.

Thank you!!!
