I thought I would try seeing how the new Lumira Infographics looked like on the iPad, specifically Mobile BI.  Note you can go to Lumira Cloud by just logging on to Safari, but it's more convenient (in my opinion) to use Mobile BI 6.  Using SAP BusinessObjects Mobile you can annotate or e-mail the visualization and take advantage of other features.

Figure 1

Figure 1 shows the Infographics I created using SAP BusinessObjects Lumira Cloud.  While it is not really sized for Mobile BI, I can scroll and annotate as shown in Figure 1.

(It also shows Germany has a history of the most wins in the World Cup - how will that impact Thursday's game against the United States? )

Figure 2

Figure 2 shows the Storyboard on Mobile BI.  I used the new storyboard templates provided in Lumira 1.17, so I didn't need to think about where to place the visualization.

Figure 3

Figure 3 shows I can e-mail from Mobile BI 6 and use a QR code to scan the visualization from the e-mail.

More experimenting to come.  I really like the advantages of Lumira Cloud with Mobile BI - you aren't tied to a VPN network at work and setting up the connections to the Cloud is easy.  Mobile BI is free from iTunes and Lumira Cloud is free (up to a certain amount of storage) - so you can try this yourself.
