Dear All,

I would like to share few information to change the Tab Text in HR Master Data Screen(PA20/PA30).

HR Master Data (Tcode – PA30)

Check T-code PA30 before doing the modification as shown below

As per user requirement, we need to change Text name for first Tab ‘THIRU & Co Employee Master‘ to ‘Employee Master

❗ Absolutely incorrect way of doing these changes.

If you maintain the table directly it won't ask for a customizing request and the changes are not transported to the subsequent systems in the landscape.

The texts should be maintained via customizing and i think there is definitely a way to maintain them via SPRO.

PS - Please put in some thought before posting such documents on SCN.

Suhas is right, at least use SM30 on maintenance view V_T588C, to change text and generate transport request, but not SE16N unless explicitly asked in an OSS note. You could also use translation options.
