It's foot to the floor and pedal to the metal here at Experience SAP. As our external open date draws closer, you can really feel the excitement in the air. You can hear it too. That's because this week, specially selected members of staff have been testing their driving skills against those of Jenson Button in an effort to drive the perfect lap in our F1 McLaren car.
As Experience SAP Centre Manager, I was hoping to get behind the wheel too. Sadly, even I have to wait until after we open our doors on the 7th July. But it's not all about the thrill of the race, while I was in the Sport Runs SAP zone I made some amazing discoveries. For example, I never knew how much of a game-changer data has become in sport, how much it can improve performance, or why McLaren trusts SAP HANA to provide critical real-time data and analytics.
