First impressions are critical, and this year the simplified and open layout of the show floor set the stage. Overwhelming complexity was a thing of the past. Everything was easily found; the open layout, the broadcast of keynote sessions across all theaters and easy navigation across the show floor enabled a simplified consumption of the huge amount of information that was offered again at SAPPIRE 2014.
Sit down, relax and have a cappuccino – very unusual for “mega-events” with thousands of participants – and downtown provided the space where customers, partners and SAP employees took a break, while still being in the middle of things.
With the event “out-of-the-way”, business took center stage. Over 15 High Tech customers presented in various settings, sharing their experience with peers in the industry. 200+ participants at the Discrete Evening reception, many more High Tech presentations, demos, micro forums and industry expert support for customer meetings provided plenty of opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing.
