Once I follow the instructions “If your session in SAP HANA Web-based Development Workbench expires and you are requested to log on, close the browser tab or window, and use the Open in Web-based Development Workbench link in the Cockpit to reopen it.” in sap help: SAP HANA Cloud Platform, it works quite well.
