SAP’s annual general meeting of shareholders was held on May 21, 2014 in the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany.
The main topics of the meeting were the Q&A session with Board and Supervisory Board, - Bill McDermott became sole CEO and explained the strategy as well as Jim Hagemann Snabe’s transition into the Supervisory Board. These were discussed in the arena while the UA team represented University Alliances and CSR topics in the exhibition area and explained the UA program to interested shareholders, shareholder representatives, and guests.
Key Topics at the UA Demo Pod:
A big world map and an interactive dashboard informed all visitors about the global reach of the UA program. The shareholders got an insight into the UA offering, including the range of curriculum opportunities with regards to teaching SAP software, co-innovation projects with students and the SAP ecosystem. Amongst other topics, openSAP, the Student Entrepreneurship program, Big Data Innovation Center and Innovation Lab with universities were showcased at the booth.
Next to the SAP University Alliances pod, the shareholders had the opportunity to learn more about SAP’s topics such as mobile solutions on SAP HANA® like the DFB App and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Overall about 3,500 shareholders gathered at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany, for the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
