This post will be a direct follow up to the last post.  Last time we created the value categories that we wanted to see on the Cost tab of the service order.  Now, we need to connect them the value categories to the appropriate cost elements.

As always, here is the location within the IMG to find the configuration.

As soon as you select the Assign Cost Elements to Value Categories, you will need to enter in your controlling area.

Now, it will bring up all the value categories you created in the last lesson.  Select one of the categories, and press the magnifying glass button.

From here, you simply enter in the range of cost elements that should be selected for this category, or my personal favorite is to create a cost element group.  If you aren't sure how to create this or why, check my post:  http://paperstreetenterprises.com/service-management-cost-element-groups/

Once you enter in this information, go ahead and save.  You now have defined when each value category will be displayed within you service order.
