We are now 5 days away from this year’s biggest SAP customer event and still making this more worthwhile than ever.
The Retail team has put together a compelling must-see program for Retail that speaks to the current and future dynamics in this industry.
In fact Retail has become so pervasive, it will be mentioned everywhere.
Let me share a few highlights: We have customer presentations from
–Tumi who talk about their growth in On-line Global Revenues and Profitability in Retail
-Luxottica and their thoughts on winning over savvy and demanding customers through innovation,
-Hobby Lobby who share their digital transformation in Retail with Omni-Channel commerce with hybris
-Big Lots Transform discussing their customer engagement for Retail growth
-Tory Burch speaking to their efforts to optimize their supply chain to drive growth and
-99 Cent Only Stores lay out the role of SAP on their strategic growth plan and in streamlining their overall business operations.
An entire day’s program is dedicated to the Future of Customer Engagement:
Marketing and commerce leaders will share ways to orchestrate seamless engagement and commerce across social, mobile, and other channels to make every
customer interaction relevant and personalized. They will also discuss how to leverage Big Data to improve the customer experience and present the best offers to the right customers at the right time, influencing decisions and maximizing customer conversions.
But we also show we think ahead and peek into the Future world of a Networked Economy based on an internet with over 50 billion connected things by 2020.
This showcase with give you an idea of a fully connected network of sensor-enabled vending machines and delivery trucks that operates seamlessly to deliver a highly personalized consumer experience, backed up by responsive supply chains, real-time replenishment, and remote maintenance.
Finally, Fashion is a big topic for SAP this year. Previewed at NRF the new solution for Fashion management will be launched at SAPPHIRE NOW. Bringing together the wholesale, retail and manufacturing processes of fashion retailers on one solution based on a real-time SAP HANA platform, we are excited with the market opportunity and the chance to increase our fashion coverage.
We have our four innovation customers at the event to talk about their vision of fashion and why this launch is so significant and Luxottica, one of the SAP Fashion Management solution early adopter swill be featured on a business innovation panel to discuss the impact on their organization. Look out for the press release and follow the conversation on SAP.com/retail where you will find more information.
These are just some of the highlights – I encourage you to review your last chance to get there in person. If you can’t make it, I recommend to follow closely online. The online agenda can be found here: http://events.sap.com/sapphirenow/en/agenda.html
