A good tool indeed. Helping both the Partners and Customers finding SAP Certified Resources. Though certification isn’t the only qualification employers are looking for, it still matters especially when one has to differentiate self with others having similar experiences.

    And I can see “someone” C_BOBIP_40 and C_BOSUP_90 certified : )

An important point I noted here is certifications have expiry dates and the expired ones are not listed, even with expired status. So if you look for “MALIK” in “Jeddah, Saudi Arabia”, you would find only C_PM_70 and not HR certification which I had few years ago!

If you are already certified, you’ve received a mail from credential-manager in order to activate your personal account.

    No.

Going to SMP I can see that a valid email address is registered. Going to account recovery on the credential manager site, I get

We could not locate your record or your record does not contain a valid e-mail address, please contact

are there any other pre-requisites to be fulfilled besides being certified?

    1. Harald Ernst

      Hello Tobias,

you can’t register yourself – with a valid Certification you should either receive an Opt-In e-mail (for certificates before Oct. 1, 2013) or a direct invitation for all certificates achieved after Oct. 1, 2013. Note: that the launch is staggered by Countries / Region.

      Regards,

      Harald

Got a signup email from SAP. Now that I am registered, it looks I’ll have to wait a few weeks before I can access the platform

        Registration Successful

Thank you, your registration has been successful and your details will be added to the Credential Manager.

You will receive additional information how to access this new platform in the upcoming weeks. Please be aware that you will be asked to provide a postal address when entering the system for the purposes of certificate fulfillment. Your address and other data will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for the named purpose. We look forward to welcoming you to Credential Manager soon.

          Hello Tobias,

I hope the waiting time wasn’t that long! Today, the first Opt-In’s for LA to SAP Credential Manager were transferred.

          Procedure:
          1) Load of a small subset of personal information to enable your first login. You should receive an e-mail* with a link and a initial password**. Once your S-UserID exists:

          2) load of certificates achieved before Oct. 1, 2013. Please, note that this process needs it’s time (means: your certificate(s) may show up with a 24 to 36h delay!).

It would be kind if you wait this time until you create your first “Support Ticket” in SAP Credential Manager.

With mid of this week all certificates achieved after Oct. 1, 2013 will be pushed to CM to update your Credential Manager Account to the latest status.

          —————-

          *Check your SPAM-Folder(?!)

**During your login you are asked about your address, phone and you can change the e-mail address or add a second one.

You have to accept the Privacy Statement of our Partner Pearson VUE and to decide about the visibility in our Public Registry (I agree / Do not agree).

If you agree to be visible in the Public Registry: please, update your personal information and choose what information should be visible (address, phone etc…). You could set a checkmark on the right side of your Address to have that visible.

    Hello William, all,

thank you for introducting the Credential Manager to us.

I made a certification back in 2007 – which I am still benefiting from – yet have changed the employer twice since then. What means do I have to get this certification transferred either to my S-User at my new employer or, even better, to my independent account? The email account which was maintained at the time of the certification is long dead by now.

    Thanks and regards, Christoph

Useful post, yet the question to me is why the SAP Credential Manager is hosted by Pearson and not by SAP itself?

SAP is the certification authority, all exam questions, results and certificates are coming from  SAPso why do you need to have this “interface” between Pearson and SAP?

By the way, I recently wrote a certification, passed it and got listed in the registry without a glitch so it works. The only part which did not worked very well is getting the printed certificate. I had to call Pearson, then call SAP and a lady from SAP in very condescending tone told me what info to provide them so that SAP can print and resend me the certificate.

    Hi William,

I got the link SAP credential link yesterday and i registered it and have my associate SAP B1 certification in the list. I have 2 questions to check :

    1) How to get the name in the search result of SAP Consultant registry. Do we have to publish it first to an particular customer ?

2)Where would i have to access for the 2nd main feature mentioned by you in the blog(regarding discounted products and knowledge sharing sessions)

    Thanks&Regards

    1. Harald Ernst

      Hello Darshan,

to be visible in the Public Registry you have to select ‘I do agree’ during the initial login. Your decision can be changed at any time when you select ‘Update Personal Info’ from the left menu bar. Please, update your personal information and decide which Info should be visible by setting a Checkmark on the right side of your personal information: ‘Visible in the Public Registry:’ checkbox. It needs some time until your Information is visible in the Public Registry.

Even if you decide (not) to be in the Public Registry you have the function ‘Publish Certification’ where you enter an e-mail address and some Text. Check this function first with an e-mail to yourself or use the Preview before sending this to someone.

We are working on a Learning Hub integration that should offer you the mentioned discounted products and sessions.

      Kind regards,

      Harald

        Hi Harald,

Thanks for your valuable response to my query, i was able to see my name in the Public registry after selecting the checkbox while updating the personal info.

Eagerly waiting for the learning hub to get to know more about the products..

        Thanks&Regards

    1. Harald Ernst

      Hi Vishnu,

it depends where your certification take place. If at our Partner PearsonVUE it could take some time until your results are in our back-end systems. If you had taken your certification in a SAP Event your account should have been created. An E-Mail from credential-manager should be in your inbox. Occasionally it could be in your Spam-Folder.

      I hope this helps.

      Best regards,

      Harald

    1. Harald Ernst

      Hello Nawaz,

we are loading new Data to SAP Credential Manager (CM) every week. Sometimes some Data are not loaded correctly and no Account activation is send.

Another reason: you are listed with a Company Mail Address that filters CM Mails out.

      Another Case could be:

You got a Student account: these are in most cases without an e-mail in our systems – so we can’t create a CM Account as the communication is only e-mail based.

Such Accounts belong to Universities or other Institutions and are bound to that Organization. So you should either request a free SAP Person ID (former S-User or SAP User ID) and Certificate transfer with your nearest SAP Education Dept. or you get an ID through your Company.

      I hope this helps.

      Kind regards,

      Harald

        thanks in adavnce

    Hi everyone,

I’m running into the same issue as Nawaz – I obtained my certification May 15th, and have subsequently received the paper certificate mid July.

I have NOT however gotten a notification regarding Credential Manager… Is there any way to determine if an email has been sent out or to get one resent on the assumption that I may have missed it somehow?

    Thanks

        Harald,

You seem to be an heroic one-man support desk? 😆 The SAP Credential Manager won’t accept my password, so I attempted an account recovery.

“Account Recovery successful, please check your E-mail.”

One hour later, no email. Not in the SPAM folder either.

        Can you help please?

I have a similar situation here.

I was certified in the year 2007. I have checked in the current certification lists that its valid as of now. But how do I ensure that my certification is not retired as you have mentioned above in ur reply to a co-scnuser.

I was even not aware of CM in 2007.

I have the certificate ID and my S-User as well with me incase that would be needed.

    Hi Harald,

    Pls help.

My S user ID is S0015635621

I got certified in C_TPLM30_67 recently and got email for SAP Credential Manager Login.

My concern – My name is not full in the ‘Candidate Name’ area, its actually ‘GOPALAKRISHNAN’ and not ‘GOPALAKRI’.

In my application for certification I have written the correct name, i.e NIRMAL KOKKUVAYIL GOPALAKRISHNAN. All my PEARSON VUE login, voucher and all documents bear my full name. Kindly please resolve this ASAP so that actual print certificate will come with correct name.

If you require all these documents for verification I can share to your email ID.
