Every SAP project manager wants to go to bed in a cool mood 1-2 days before go-live date. Unfortunately this could not be possible because of the feeling of missing tasks. There might be no missing task, however project manager should be sure about those.
I have prepared simple check list in order to feel comfortable during the cut-over.
3 major questions should be answered properly:
1. Is system ready? All customizing and development requests should move to live environment.
2. Is data ready? All master data and open items should move to live environment.
3. Are users / people ready ? All SAP users and roles should be created and granted. All users should connect to SAP live environment. All trainings should be performed and all training materials should be ready to use.
Once these major tasks are completed, most probably project will go-live with minor issues.
