Context Aware User eXperience in Fiori Launchpad

Excited to get to SAPPHIRE Orlando? So am I. Coming for the 5th time and every time astonished by the size and variety of SAP eco-system. It is not easy to manage across so many ASUG and SAPPHIRE sessions, exhibitors, demo theaters and most important abundant networking. Don’t forget dinners and parties.

So how do you manage your travel today? When you have so many bookings, places to navigate to, things to look for, packed agenda to manage, new people to meet? Are you coming with your executive assistant? Are you using some kind of virtual personal assistant? Just travel management and calendar apps? Print everything and remember everything?

What if you’re vendor that is looking for new leads, opportunities and ideally deals to close. Do you remember all your accounts, pricelists, discounts and can fetch anything from your CRM system at once? Good for you.

I personally use Google Now to help with my travel. This is great piece of Context Aware software. It understands where you’re, where you are heading to, what’s close to you, what booking you have and more. It knows when to suggest calculator for metric to US or currency conversion.
And it is usually very relevant, it is Contextual.

So what about business. Many SAP teams are adding context-aware capabilities to SAP products or transforming entire user experience to be context-aware. Portal team is adding context-aware user experience capabilities across portal portfolio and particularly interesting was the pilot in Fiori Launchpad we conducted with two distinguished partners.

Are you high performing sales manager who don’t have enough time for CRM? Need you stuff ready for this very important customer meeting and no executive assistant yet? This session will cover you.

Are you operations manager scrupulously looking for optimizations of POs and SOs, matching vendors and customer accounts, need your purchase requisitions ready when you meet procurement specialist? Join this session and let us know what do you think.

Passionate about user productivity, ready to discuss your business scenario with us? Or may be you’re passionate about the technologies powering context-awareness: big data, natural language processing, machine learning? We’re looking for co-innovation with our customers and partners. I’ll be happy to meet you at SAPPHIRE. Just tweet or email me.

See you in Orlando!
