Today’s hospital must treat service as a central principle and embed it in all workflows. At the same time, healthcare C-suite executives are being faced with dynamic changes within the healthcare system. Policy reform, changing compliance regulations, an emphasis on values-based medicine, increasing patient expectations, coordination of the continuum of care, and advances in information technology all require hospitals and healthcare systems to quickly adapt.
