SAP Announces Innovations for Trusted Data Discovery, Agile Visualization, and Advanced Insights with SAP Lumira
The power of collective insight can be articulated with three core characteristics; the ability to engage, visualize, and predict. Agile visualizations intuitively allow users to explore and present data, both big and small. They can drive a real-time understanding of the business and by applying advanced predictive analytics to more information we can confidently anticipate what comes next and guide forward looking decision making. The power of collective insight however can only truly be unleashed by delivering all of these, providing organizations with trust, agility, and foresight.
Today, SAP announced the next release of SAP Lumira, available during SapphireNOW, June 3-5; the release will offer IT a way to bring trusted data discovery to the organization. This comes in the form of managed self-service with SAP BI 4.1 platform integration via SAP Lumira Server. SAP Lumira is also trusted for data big and small with SAP HANA integration for speed and data access as well as trusted for enterprise data to visualize SAP BW.
The new innovations to SAP Lumira will allow users to deliver best-in-class visualizations anywhere to author stories across the cloud, server, and desktop. Users can create and share infographics and add their own custom visual extensions. Innovations for flexible data import and preparation also provides agility for creating data mash-ups.
The release is also about providing advanced insights to everyone by helping to identify outliers with pre-built visual discoveries that uncover what will happen or what is needed in the future. Finally new predictive scenarios can be extended with visualizations via SAP Predictive Analysis.
