SapphireNow/ASUG: Control Operational Risk with Management of Change: Session LB14422

SAPPHIRE NOW + ASUG Annual Conference this year will be richly interspersed with great many great sessions , and  I am looking forward to many informative presentations.

As most of you know I am very interested in ways of improving the operations in a facility. Part of this improvement implies changes to operations, be it to processes, equipment , or procedures, etc. To implement changes in an operation environment (which can be highly dangerous if it the change is not controlled) requires a management of change process.  While this process can be and has been performed manually, the number of and type of changes that companies are having to mange today are driving customers to look to SAP for a solution. .

With that in mind, I thought that I would point out the following session: Control Operational Risk with Management of Change- June 3rd 11:00-11:20 in the lines of business demo theater. This demonstration will explore how to manage continuous changes to equipment, material, processes, and people in manufacturing and production operations. Learn how the SAP Management of Change application can enable a consistent process to mitigate unnecessary risks introduced by necessary change.
