This session was also streamed LIVE at various coffee corner stations in the Labs Campus.

The theme of Faculty Day 2014 was“Empowering the Millennials”  because we believe that the world’s workforce is going through fundamental change. In fact, by 2030, 75% of the global workforce will be Millennials. How we hire, retain and engage them is a big challenge and opportunity. Academicians have the fortune to spend such valuable time with these Millennials and it is with their support and help that we can empower them.

In the SAP Faculty Day 2012,  over 100 Faculty colleagues from India’s top 40 colleges participated.  The theme was  ‘Creating a Culture of Innovation’ and we thoroughly brainstormed around the topic with a few speakers addressing the group of faculty members.  We also had a few faculty members sharing their perspectives about various topics.  We arranged the alumni meet for all the faculty members with their college alumni which was highly appreciated by everyone.   In the following year, we made the event bigger and better.
