Demos and Q&A at Expert Tables
We have some very exiting new demos like Google Glass app and augmented reality app with world-class user
experience that are enabled by SAP Gateway to interact with SAP systems. They will be shown at the following expert tables:
- Database & Technology campus at Middleware expert table (HANA Innovation Area)
- Industry campus at Retail expert table (IN123)
Google Glass demo
The SAP Gateway technology enables development of innovative solutions with "Anywhere World Class UX" on cutting edge devices. This demo uses the latest smart glass like Google Glass to enable a hands-free laptop repair scenario with connectivity through Cloud to SAP systems to retrieve laptop details, repair steps, parts inventory and order missing parts real-time.
Augmented Reality demo
Businesses can rapidly absorb emerging technologies – artificial intelligence based augmented reality – and integrates them directly into order-to-cash workflow. In this demo, through a tablet device a user can see the augmented reality of an interior design item such as furniture or windows. User can pick the right size and design pattern from the available catalog entries and trigger the orders in SAP easily from anywhere. SAP Gateway extends SAP backend functionalities (catalog management, inventory and more) to the state of art mobile devices with World Class User Experience.
Integration Gateway demo (in SAP Mobile Platform 3.0) - Shown in demo theater TE13966
Integration Gateway is a technology component that provides design-time tools and the associated run-time for modeling, composing and provisioning OData services based on one or more APIs from various SAP and non-SAP data sources. This demo features a mobile application that consumes data from various data sources via Integration Gateway in SAP Mobile Platform 3.0.
