Thank you to everyone who joined the session last week.

any idea when can we expect a REST and OData adapter available from SAP on the standard suite?
HI Shabarish,
OData adapter is already available with the Connectivity Add-on:
OData Adapter and SFSF Adapter (extensions) for SAP Process Integration
REST adapter is planned for end of this year.
Regards,
Christian
Thanks Christian. Hopefully we will see more features added to the OData adapter. Right now as far as i understood, it can only be used to consume OData services but not provision them. Frankly, that is a bit of a disappointment as the use cases for that is very limited.
As for REST adapter, it is something we are anticipating with great interest.
Thanks for you note once again. Much appreciated.
OData Provisioning will be handled via Gateway services.
With SP13, we plan to have OData provisioning on Process Orchestration for Gateway-enabled ABAP backends (IW_BEP). Support for additional data sources is on the roadmap.
Thank you. I am sure there are many of us closely watching this space 🙂
