Blog it Forward- Amanda Martins
Hi everyone,
I am writing this blog due the BIF Challenge and I am following the BIF from Jason Cao.
My name is Amanda Martins, I am 22 years old, Brazilian, graduated in Industrial Engineering and passionate about nature, food, art, dance and social activities. In the begging of this year I entered in SAP Sales Academy, it is a very challenging program that if you don’t know about it yet, I encourage you to have a look on it.
I live in São Paulo, the world’s seventh largest city by population. I love living here because we have a very good variety of restaurants, parks and malls. The city is so big that I live there for my entire life and if I want to go to somewhere different in the weekend, I will definitely get lost. The picture below is from a bridge near home:
Well, now I have to answer three questions:
•What inspires you?
My family and friends are definitely my inspiration. I don’t have children yet, so I want to give good impact in the world around me so my Family can live better each day and appreciate life the best way possible.
•What have you accomplished recently that you’re really proud of?
I don’t want to sound repetitive, but as this is the most recently one, I am very proud of myself to be part of the SAP Sales Academy team. I am having the opportunity to live abroad for a while, know different cultures, challenge myself with new skills and really impact the daily lives of companies.
•If you could be a superhero, who would you be?
I don’t know any superhero woman that I would like to be, but I would definitely want to have the ability to speak several languages and to teleport to all places I would like to go.
I would like to BIF the same questions I answered (What inspires you?/ What have you accomplished recently that you’re really proud of?/ If you could be a superhero, who would you be?) to Akeiro Lloyd and Carlos Fantoni.
Best,
Amanda
Welcome to the BIF family:)!
Thanks!
Hi
Nice and short BIF. May I ask that what is SAP Sales Academy and what is your role there? Is it involve in SAP certification or something else?
Thank$
Sure! SAP Sales Academy is a global training program for early talents to become an Account Executive. It is not a SAP certification program but a trainee program. So, for 9 months I am an Academy Account Executive and at the end of the year I should become a sales executive. It is really nice for people that are starting their careers; we have 3 months non consecutives in Dublin-Califórnia and 6 months in our Market Unit.
Well thats good for you. Thank you explaining this to me ๐ and as everyone is saying Wellcome to BIF chain ๐
Thank$
That is a beautiful picture of the bridge. As Moshe said, welcome to the BIF family
Thanks! At night the bridge is more beautiful, and at Christmas, even more.
Welcome to BIF family.
I stayed in Rotterdam, Netherlands in a nice and lovely posh apartment ๐ near by the river, always great view in the night times. I remembers the Rotterdam Bridge when I see your picture. ๐
Best Regards,
Ravi
Nice! I should visit the Rotterdam Bridge then =)

So Sorry! G and H are very close from each other in the keyboard.
Thanks Sudhir Sadhu! =)
Yes, I know. Just for fun I mentioned it ๐
Hey Amanda! Thanks for taking up the challenge! One of my passions is travelling - your superpowers would be very helpful for me as well, especially with the money I'll save from airfare. ๐
Congratulations on joining the SAP Academy! Having had the chance to work with the SAP Academy group recently, I can say the future of SAP is looking even brighter. You are a talented bunch! ๐
Cheers,
Jason
