Following the event summary I’d like to say few words regarding social networking at #GartnerPCC.
While Gartner team did tremendous work on real-life attendees engagement at the event, the social networking was lagging.
So the overall exposure was ~1.4M users. Taking in account large company accounts that were exhibiting or speaking there its really not enough.
Amount of tweets wasn’t too high as well.
Comparing to SAP events where social networks engagement is an important goal there is a way to go for Gartner. So may be the main goal is an on-site attendees engagement and as I already mentioned (event summary) Gartner did great work there.
