SAP HANA Cloud Platform: Two new openSAP courses – An Introduction and Next Steps
On October 28, 2013 the openSAP course Introduction to SAP HANA Cloud Platform began with almost 14,000
participants registered and in total 24,000 participants have registered to access the course content. This course received positive feedback and had quite a fan club on Twitter.
We are delighted to announce that Introduction to SAP HANA Cloud Platform (repeat) will start from June 11, 2014. The course includes some updates which feature simplifications in the developer experience since the first course.
In addition to the repeat course there is also a new advanced course, Next steps in SAP HANA Cloud Platform, for those who already completed the first course. This advanced course starts on June 12 and focuses on how you can use the platform to develop and manage SAP HANA native apps and HTML5 apps, as well as how to use advanced security features, develop widgets on SAP HANA Cloud Portal, and much more.
For those taking the introductory course for the first time, we plan to repeat the advanced course later this year, so you won’t miss out.
SAP HANA Cloud Platform is an open standards-based, in-memory cloud platform designed for today’s increasingly networked, mobile, social and data-driven world. Developers can quickly build impactful, highly scalable applications leveraging the massive speed and scale of SAP HANA. This Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering allows you to focus on developing your software and use an enterprise-ready pre-installed environment in the SAP Cloud to deploy and run your applications in a secure and reliable way.
Registration, learning content and final exam for both courses are free of charge. As an optional add-on, you will have the opportunity to access a development system for hands on practice; however this will incur costs which will be explained at the start of the course.
Sign up for these courses today and get ahead on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform!
