It’s that time of year again – SapphireNOW is just a few weeks away. There is always a lot of excitement that builds up in the weeks leading up to the conference. We’re diligently putting together presentations, preparing for microforums, perfecting our demos and resting up for what is sure to be a very busy week. And the Mobile Secure team has a lot to prepare for with some great news coming out at the show.
If you’ve never been to this conference before, you’re in for a fantastic experience. I attend dozens of industry events every year - ranging from vendor conferences to industry events to analyst conferences - and I can confidently say that SapphireNOW is the best event out there. I was recently on an advisory board for a major industry conference; the moderator asked for examples of the best event is to model after. Another board member – who wasn’t from SAP – indicated that SapphireNOW is simply the best event in the industry. He explained the conference as having “an energy from the moment you walk in”. He continued, “It’s the only event that you don’t want to leave when the closing bell rings each day.” And it’s absolutely true. While your feet may hurt from walking all day, you really don’t want to leave the energy and excitement of simply being there, networking with peers, learning from the experts and soaking in the latest technology trends.
As you start building your agendas for the week, we’ve got some great mobile content lined up. For starters, you’ll find mobile EVERYWHERE this year. Mobile has become pervasive in the industry – it is part of everything that every company is doing. For that reason mobile sessions will be found in every campus on the show floor. Look for mobile sessions in the industry campus, LOB campus and in the Platform and Technology campus.
