Last and past – historical Accounts Receivable is loaded to BW and customer can load latest AR items real time to HANA and these are merged to provide

current outstanding and overdue analysis

With LSA++ cubes are needed anymore as you can query directly on DSO level in the business content

Figure 7 shows what the previous figures show – reporting is based on DSO’s instead of cubes.

Business content is a real value-add.  It is extended to take advantage of new HANA-based capabilities

For reporting you go against the DSO’s instead of InfoCubes

Now it has persisted InfoProviders which are stored in database as storing in cubes is redundant, resulting in the number of layers reduced
