I have written before on some of the changes in recruitment methods that have occurred since the last time I looked for a job (I am twenty years and counting with SAP). That was written from the perspective of an job seeker. I had very little perspective of how things have changed in the HR world in recruiting and on-boarding. Until that is I attended a web cast.

On April 10 2014 by Rick Lind of SuccessFactors demonstrated  how SuccessFactors deals with recruiting and on-boarding.

What I found interesting was that the demo used the live SuccessFactors recruiting site as the demo. Not a demo system.  SuccessFactors uses what SuccessFactors sells. And I was impressed have the information flowed from one stage to another reducing (if not eliminating) the paper work required to recruit and onboard an employee.
