Analysis for Profit Center Reorganization

Profit Center Reorganization based on the new general gedger is offered within the product portfolio of SAP Landscape Transformation. It has been available since version 1.0 SP01.

SAP Landscape Transformation version 2.0 SP06 provides an analysis for profit center reorganization. You can use the profit center reorganization analysis to ensure that the profit center balances of some of the subledgers and the GR/IR accounts are consistent with the new general ledger (FI-GL).

The analysis covers the following areas:

• Asset balances (FI-AA)
• Material balances (MM)
• Work in process (WiP) and SD (Sales and Distribution)
• GR/IR accounts

You can use the profit center reorganization analysis before performing the reorganization to ensure that the system is consistent with regard to the profit center balances. After the reorganization, you can prove that no inconsistencies occurred due to the reorganization.
