Announcement of SAP Portal and HANA Cloud Portal Gamification Movie Challenge

Considering the buzz in the cloud based solutions and HANA, guess the name in itself was interesting enough to raise curiosity levels, especially when it is first of its kinds from SAP !!! Kudos to the team for coming up with this campaign and engaging the community in this challenge !!!

To begin with, I had gone through couple of videos (to be precise 4 :smile: ) and must say it was surely an enriching experience, though I was a tad disappointed as I felt something was missing which could not complete my learning experience.

Being a complete novice in both portal and HANA, my first choice of movie was "SAP Cloud Portal Overview" and I must admit first choice was a correct choice :smile: - Simple and to the point content - The visuals were apt and the content was crisp, and to add, the last slide summarized it completely.

SAP Netweaver Cloud Portal - Simple. Secure. Designed (I believe the typo has already been highlighted in another reviews :wink: )

Strongly recommend to go through the video to get an overview of what the cloud solutions offers !

Movie Reference: SAP Cloud Portal Overview

Having gone through video of the overview, it was obvious to explore a bit further on cloud, and this is where I chose the movie 'SAP Cloud Portal' (and felt a tad disappointed). With the missing background music of the first video, this came across as a nano version of CBT on the Cloud Portal. While, the content was informative enough to highlight the benefits of cloud from SAP fraternity, what I felt missing was the 'caution points or areas'. Every technology has it's own drawbacks and pain points and it would have been good if some of these pointers could have also been put across to complete the loop. Nevertheless, very informative video.

As before, the last slide says it all !

With the same analogy, I chose the movies for HANA Cloud Portal: the first choice being shorter duration movie SAP HANA Cloud Portal - Overview Video and the next one being the longer version - SAP HANA Cloud Portal movie :wink: . Except the last slide of 'SAP HANA Cloud Portal - Overview', it was all same as that of 'SAP Cloud Portal' :sad: , so I will skip sharing my comments on it and will move to my next and last video SAP HANA Cloud Portal movie.

Covered the important what's and why's of SAP HANA Cloud based solutions. Anywhere, Anytime, Any device - is what helps the businesses to strike though their needs to move ahead in fast paced environment with agility.

In short, the key message of HANA and cloud portal solutions was perfect- Fast, Open, Connected, Powerful, Rich.
