Life Science Organizations Need to Modernize Manufacturing and Quality Systems

During the Life Science breakout session at SAP’s Manufacturing forum in Chicago Tuesday, I presented the future technology
platform for a Life Science Manufacturing and Quality System.  Shrinking margins, increase need for compliance, drive to personalized medicine and global growth are some of the main Life Science Industry trends which impact the need for companies to
modernize technology systems and platforms.

In memory technology will allow Life Science Companies to move data from isolated islands of systems into one environment.  With data in one environment, companies will move and leverage Predictive Analytics which will present predictive
impacts.  Life Science companies will move to a proactive mode from the current reactive mode.

The impact of this change will provide tremendous value to an organization thru lowering inventory via lowering the need for heavy safety stocks, eliminating waste thru automating analyzing root cause analysis and increase efficiency from proactively understanding when a batch is trending towards rejection.

Now is the time to prepare for the future and leap frog the competition.
