Handling long Y-Axis Labels in Bar charts in less space...

Hi,

I have came across a requirement to display 4 charts in a single screen in equal quadrants.

There is a problem to displaying long y axis labels in small space which is by default looking like below

with sample data:

Where Y axis labels taking considerable space instead that should be utilized for data trend.

Here is the trick to display above chart in little good way to utilize the data to show data trend...like below

There is little twist in data, add one dummy row .

Keep values in dummy row very low with respect to actual values.

Add Dummy Series

Now go to "Appearance" tab -> Select "Data Labels" and for Dummy series select "Category Label" only.

for others select " Value" position "Outside end".

That's all about little trick to get above bar chart with long labels.
