In this document i will show steps for requesting and installing license for Hana DB.

Step 1 – Find your hardware key

Right click on the system and click on properties

Click on license.we can get the hardware key.

Step 2 – Request a license key

Open the link http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/minisap/minisap.htm

Please provide your SMP user name and password.

and fill all the details and request the license by providing hardware key and all other details

click on submit

Alternatively we can also get license from Service market place. Key & requests - license key search from a list  installation number  SID

After getting the license in notepad file, Please log in to hana studio, right click on system  propoerties .

Click on license

Then click on install license key

Browse the license from local directory and install it.It will give below message.
