What’s Happening in SAP Product Support – March 2014 review and April 2014 look ahead

March roared in and out this year, and once again SAP Product Support delivered great educational sessions.

As in previous months, I will be providing a recap of March, as well as a look ahead to what’s coming in April.  If you missed our earlier blogs, check them out here: What’s Happening in SAP Product Support – January 2014 edition and What’s Happening in SAP Product Support – February 2014 edition

March 2014

Enterprise Support Academy Meet the Expert sessions:

Bradley Liou  delivered a Meet the Expert session on the Automated Notes Search Tool.  The focus of the session was to enable customers to quickly identify SAP correction notes to fix system errors or bugs as well as relevant customizing tables and customer code by using Automated Note Search Tool.  By using ANST, customers will save time in their problem solving tasks.  The recording is available here.

Christopher Vozella  delivered a Meet the Expert session on BI 4.1 Maintenance Demystified. Customers were given an overview of the BI4.1 maintenance strategy, a deep dive on BI4.1 critical patch handling, and were provided information about 2014 improvements in BI4.1 maintenance.  The recording is available here.

ASUG

I had the opportunity to present a webinar through ASUG on the new SAP Support Portal, as well as attend and present at the ASUG Pittsburgh chapter meeting.  Customers were thrilled to see the ease of navigation and access to the new SAP Support Portal.  I even heard some ‘oohs and ahhs’ from the audience.

The webinar was recorded and can be accessed here: http://www.asug.com/discussions/docs/DOC-37219
