Abesh and myself did a SAP Mentor Monday on SAP MII way back in 2010. Since then lot has evolved in SAP Manufacturing space with MII coming through two new releases with lots of new features and new solutions such as SAP ME and OEE added in the SAP Manufacturing solution portfolio. This domain always remained a niche but important area for SAP customers as having real-time integration and visibility becoming mission-critical for global manufacturers. Also with the introduction of in-memory and mobility platforms it has opened new dimensions and possibilities for SAP Manufacturing solutions to become more real-time, more accessible and more value-added which can provide deep insights an actionable intelligence into manufacturing execution operations.
So we have decided to present a session in SAP Mentor Monday on April 7, 2014 where we'll talk about SAP Manufacturing solutions based on SAP MII touching upon the new features and use cases of SAP MII and related solutions. Some of the points we'll cover are as follow:
- SAP Manufacturing Performance Management Platform (OEE, ME & MII)
- Basic overview of ME, OEE & MII
- Manufacturing Analytics & Mobile solutions on MII
- Industry case studies/use cases of MII implementation
