I know, it's a huge title, but I'm moving over to a new piece of configuration that I haven't covered before.  I'm moving out the very specific areas of Service Orders and confirmations.  I'm taking a step back to start covering the initial pieces.  Today, I'm going to talk about the Plant Sections.  While this functionality is geared mostly toward Plant Maintenance, and not has much for service management, you may still have use to split your facility up into smaller units than just a plant.  The first piece of that is the plant section.

Let's start with where to find this in SPRO.

After that, you can see it is pretty straightforward.  Define your plant, and then set the plant section.  Beyond that you can assign a contact name and a phone number.  These are free form text, so, feel free to enter whatever you want here.

Simply press create new entries, and fill in the blanks

I know, it's pretty simple, but to a quote a movie I like,  "big things come from small beginnings".
